BTS’s star Jungkook has scripted history by becoming a solo Korean artist who has reached 9 billion streams on Spotify. The singer has left behind K-pop groups like BLACKPINK and TWICE. His solo album Golden was released in November 2023, and that has been played for more than 9 million times on Spotify. The official Twitter handle ofthe World Music Awards shared a post on this to inform that Jungkook reached this feat in just 1218 days, leaving behind his own K-pop group, BTS, and the above-mentioned groups.
Fans were thrilled to learn about this big achievement, and they congratulated the artist and also showered sweet wishes. Fans from across the globe have been celebrating this and have been wishing for more such achievements for their favourite artist.

For the unversed, Jungkook also served in the Korean military and was recently discharged from the services, along with other band members V, Jimin and RM.
