ARMYs Upset At HYBE After BTS Jungkook’s Recent Comments During Weverse Live
Throughout this live, BTS Jungkook talked about his journey and future ambitions, one of which is going back onto the stage. But it was one moment that sent fans into overdrive. During a promotional video showing the upcoming solo concert of J-Hope, Jungkook said, “Someday I, too, will be able to hold a solo concert, right?”
As the clip of BTS Jungkook saying this went viral, reactions of concern and frustration followed within minutes. People question why Jungkook, probably one of the biggest K-pop artists in the world today, has never had a full solo concert. At the same time, fans attacked HYBE, saying it has not pushed his momentum to the fullest since he enlisted in early December 2023, at the peak of his solo success with ‘Seven’, ‘3D’, and ‘Golden.’
ARMYs expressed disappointment, pressing the agency to consider BTS Jungkook’s solo stage, especially since he finished military service in June 2025 and actively participates in BTS-related activities.

Since his discharge, Jungkook has focused a great deal on group preparations and was recently seen performing with J-Hope during Jin’s encore show, where his live vocals proved once more why he is one of K-pop’s strongest performers.
