BTS’ Jungkook Meets Fan Near Home? ARMY Debates Privacy Violation Claims
A viral fan photo with Jungkook had ARMY questioning privacy, safety, and boundaries.
BTS’ Jungkook has been in the headlines for his candid and emotive livestream on Weverse. However, a fan’s interaction with the superstar has also grabbed the public’s attention. After apparently crossing paths with him on the road, the Turkish individual has been criticised by a section of fans, while others were excited on her behalf. Read all about why ARMY is so divided on how the fan met Jungkook below!
BTS’ Jungkook Meets Turkish Fan While X Users Cry Foul
Right before his recently deleted candid live, the fan posted a photograph and a short video with BTS’ Jungkook. Initially, fans responded positively. Users on X (formerly known as Twitter) expressed happiness for her. Some others also admitted to jealousy, ultimately congratulating the fan. Soon, however, the tide turned against her.

Certain fans mentioned that Jungkook briefly mentioned that he had been stalked right before he reached home. This turned the interaction into a possible privacy violation. Although the BTS member seemed cordial and friendly in the video she posted, the idea that he was uncomfortable displeased ARMYs.

Nah bro she def a stalker. No way you bumped into Jungkook coz his house is literally right there. You were probably following him or waiting for him to get home. This is creepy. https://t.co/hKzoJ2yIVB

Others defended the fan, saying that the ‘3D’ singer did not look uncomfortable and even agreed to take a picture and video with them. Eventually, the fan, apparently user sasosmi777 on X (Instagram now deleted), clarified that she wasn’t a sasaeng stalker. In fact, she said she had no idea where BTS’ Jungkook lived. Reiterating that she apologised for approaching him and offered to leave, the individual said he seemed happy to meet a fan.

In a separate incident, a person allegedly met Jungkook several times in one night. This individual, supposedly Peruvian, was miffed when he refused to take pictures and took to her social media (now deleted) to call him hateful names. Some online users confused the two, even though it is unclear if the Turkish fan was stalking him or not.
