And now, he stands as the first K-pop solo artist and the quickest Asian act to surpass 9.9 billion streams on Spotify. His first full solo album, Golden, came out on November 3, 2023. It features tracks like ‘3D’ with Jack Harlow, ‘Closer to You’ with Major Lazer, ‘Seven’s explicit version’ with Latto, ‘Standing Next to You’, ‘Yes or No’, ‘Please Don’t Change’ with DJ Snake, ‘Hate You’, ‘Somebody’, ‘Too Sad to Dance’, ‘Shot Glass of Tears’, and ‘Seven clean version’ with Latto. These songs quickly earned millions of views and billions of streams.

Fans around the world feel excited about this new record. As per reports, Jungkook now dominates charts as the top K-pop solo artist on Spotify with almost ten billion streams. Every original song he has made, even those with other artists, has passed one hundred million streams. This makes him the only K-pop solo artist to reach that mark.

It’s crazy because his solo album came out just two years ago and so many new listeners come along every day. The K-pop star’s songs are being played all over the world and hence he has easily achieved this feat.

Earlier, he was also reported to be the best-selling K-pop solo artist in many countries. The ‘Standing Next To You’ singer’s songs chart well in global music charts as well and all of these factors have helped him stay ahead.

On the other hand, the second season of Jungkook and Jimin’s travel show, Are You Sure?!, will be released on the OTT platform Disney Plus on December 3. Viewers will get to see the two members travelling, eating delicious food and having the time of their life.
