K-pop fans are known for speaking out when they believe something isn’t right. They don’t hold back and often take a stand and express their concerns. Jungkook’s Recent Photo Makes Fans Furious

On July 29, 2025, Ma Sunho shared a photo on Instagram with BTS Jungkook in a sleeveless black t-shirt at the gym. Ma Sunho also added a caption and was all praises about the ‘Standing Next To You’ singer’s dedication. However, not everyone was happy, as some noticed Jungkook was holding a Starbucks cup. It ignited a heated debate, as the brand is on the Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) list due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Many fans took to their social media accounts and expressed disappointment. One user wrote that South Korea has many coffee shops, and Jungkook’s choice of Starbucks felt out of touch to them. They wanted him to be aware of the boycott and felt that his influence could unintentionally promote a controversial brand.

On the other hand, some fans came to his defence. They wrote that Starbucks Korea operates separately from the global brand and isn’t directly tied to it. They called the criticism unfair and called out everyone for spreading misinformation for attention. The debate is still ongoing, with many netizens sharing their thoughts.
