Fans of the Jungkook-Winter ship have been adamant to prove that the two K-pop idols are in a relationship with each other. However, their claims and ‘evidence’ have been debunked by both ARMYs and MYs multiple times. Now, a new so-called hint of their relationship has people going crazy, but others dismiss it for being trivial and baseless.

How Did BTS Jungkook And Aespa Winter’s Dating Rumours Start

The relationship rumours between BTS Jungkook and Aespa Winter first started when they were spotted using similar earpieces and going to the same gym. These rumours were quickly dismissed as it was proven that the gym where the two were spotted going to is very popular among K-pop idols. The same earpiece is also worn by many artists in the K-pop industry.

A post debunking all these claims even went viral on South Korean discussion platforms. Now, another rumour is making the shippers hopeful. Jungkook opened his new Instagram account today, which had the handle @mnijungkook. Some fans claimed that the ‘mni’ in the username is a subtle reference to Winter’s real name, Minjeong.

People also discovered that Jungkook’s Instagram username was initially @imjungkook when it was created a few months ago. Winter’s current username is also @imwinter.

However, Jungkook himself later went on live to talk about his new account and even reveal the meaning behind the username. He clarified that the new username simply meant that his name is Jungkook, shutting down any circulating theories.
