BTS’ Jimin Wins BMI Pop Award For Who, Fans Call Him “History Maker”

Even though BTS’ Jimin is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, his achievements aren’t stopping, and we love that!
The global star just achieved two major milestones for his superhit song ‘Who’ from his second solo album, Muse. ‘Who’ was awarded for being one of the most performed songs of the year at the BMI Pop Awards 2025. Read on to know more about it!

What’s more interesting is that Jimin won the same award for ‘Like Crazy’ from his debut solo album Face. With that, the global star made history as the first K-pop artist to win two BMI Pop Awards in a row. Fans went gaga over it and congratulated him online. One fan wrote, “CONGRATULATIONS JIMIN. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE PRODUCERS AND SONGWRITERS.” Another fan wrote, “He’s History.”

This isn’t it for Jimin’s ‘Who’. It also became the longest-charting K-pop song on the Billboard Hot 100. The song stayed on the chart for 33 weeks. The global star also made history by becoming the first Korean solo artist to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, he is also nominated for AMAs under the category of Best K-pop Artist. Along with him, BTS’ leader RM is also nominated. 

More On Jimin’s Military Discharge 

The star enlisted in the military on December 12, 2023 and will reportedly discharge on June 11, 2025. After his mandatory military service, the members will reunite as a group and most likely release an album. Well, fans are waiting for the day. Us too!
