The news, which began circulating in 2022, was rekindled after the pair appeared in a TikTok video that went viral online, posted by Song Da Eun. BigHit Speaks Out On Relationship Rumours Between BTS Jimin And Song Da Eun
On August 31, BigHit Music stated the dating incident with BTS Jimin and Song Da Eun. The agency clarified that it had initially kept quiet out of respect for Jimin’s privacy and that of the other person involved. With rumors ongoing, the agency has now come forward to put the facts straight.
The company in their statement said, “The artist and the subject in question were formerly familiar with each other on a friendly basis some years ago, but they are not involved with one another now,” read the statement. The agency went on to discourage fans and media outlets from irresponsible gossip concerning the artist’s personal life and asked that nothing be done that might bring harm to Song Da-eun, who is named in the rumors.”.
The latest stir occurred when Song Da-eun uploaded a TikTok clip on August 27. In the video, she was waiting in an elevator, which later opened to BTS Jimin exiting. Looking taken aback, he remarked, “Oh, you startled me! Did you know that I was entering? I didn’t warn you on purpose.” The video, as per reports, was taken at Nine One Hannam, the luxury building where Jimin lives now in Seoul.

Although the video went viral in a flash, it also generated a flurry of alarm and outrage among ARMYs. Fans were concerned about BTS Jimin’s safety and noted that the video indicated details of the interior of his home. They criticized posting personal videos without permission as an invasion of privacy and a possible security issue.
