Why Calling BTS Jimin ‘Feminine’ Isn’t The Savage Insult You Think It Is. It’s A Total Flop!

BTS-Jimin-Faces-Criticism-Over-Looks-Trolls-call-him-female

It’s the 21st century and we often hear that we are becoming wiser and more evolved every day but sometimes it feels like we have taken one or two steps backward. For example, in our desi household, a guy who avoids fights gets called weak with the taunt, “Haath mein chudiyan pehen rakhi hai kya?” And boys who cry get to hear, “Ladkiyo jaise mat ro.” Well, the list goes on and recently, I saw internet trolls targeting BTS’s Jimin and labelling him “girly” or “female” just to tear him apart. It’s beyond frustrating how we live in a time where “feminine” means weak and is an insult.

Jimin, with his fluid style, sparks heated debates online. The ‘Like Crazy’ singer rocks skirts and sharp suits alike and proudly carries a vibe that defies the rigid boxes of man or woman. Fans love it but others don’t. Why? because his style goes against the rule that real men wear only black.

Honestly, It’s deeply rooted in misogyny and you can’t talk me out of it. It’s like being a woman steals your strength. Specifically, in the desi household, it’s worse. Popular K-pop group BTS often gets slammed by men. They use sentences like “They look like girls” and “They seem gay” as a way to insult them. As if pretty faces make them small. These aren’t just mere words; they come from a world that loves being rough and hides soft feelings.

But what if looking girly meant real strength? Women run homes and worlds in pretty dresses. And, sometimes, men forget about their mums, who shaped them with bangles and strong willpower. Honestly, real change needs more than just words and gadgets. It takes guts to like feminine things without any fear. So, let men cry out loud and wear bright colours and makeup proudly!
