All seven members of BTS are discharged from the military and are returning to their idol careers by doing lives, going on variety shows and interacting with fans. While BTS was deployed in the military, many praised their work ethic and hardworking nature. They achieved high ranks and prizes during their service. However, in a recent interview, J-Hope shared a story from his military days that shocked fans worldwide. BTS J-Hope revealed that once he had to run long distances every day to receive a day off from the service.

BTS J-Hope Reveals He Ran 500 KM To Get A Vacation

J-Hope appeared this week on Point of Omniscient Interference and revealed that he and his base once had the opportunity to participate in a running activity where they would receive a five-day leave if they completed a run of 800 km. However, later this activity was changed to running 500 km to get a leave for one day. J-Hope said that he ran over 10 km every day and managed to get an extra day of vacation.

He also said that running so much made his calves stronger and thicker. His mother ended up being concerned over the sight of J-Hope’s bulging muscles and asked him what had happened in the military to give him such strong muscles.

The K-pop star became conscious of his legs and started using a yoga ring to reduce his leg muscles. He started this two months before his military discharge and managed to reduce them. BTS J-Hope completed his mandatory military service in 2024 and also concluded his world tour this year. The singer has since then released hit singles like ‘Mona Lisa’ and ‘Killin’ It Girl.’ With the last member, Suga, being discharged from his service on 21 June, BTS is also said to make a comeback with all the members next year in March.
