Are BTS in Lisbon, Portugal, for a schedule? All seven members of the ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ group recently flew out of South Korea together. Their airport journey caused a fuss on social media; netizens attempted to decode where the septet was going. Reports said they landed in Dubai, and ARMYs wondered if there was a possible event in the UAE city. If sources are to be believed, however, the seven members were headed to Europe instead.
Was BTS’ Dubai Trip A Layover For The European City Of Lisbon?
BTS has been on the move lately. On February 2, the K-pop sensations took off from Incheon Airport on the outskirts of Seoul for an undisclosed international schedule. While their final destination was not made public, they were spotted at Dubai International Airport, apparently buying the viral Dubai cookie from a store. At first, fans assumed that they had plans in the desert city. But informants revealed that this was just a temporary stop for the group, which was apparently off to Portugal.
The official Instagram account of Humberto Delgado Airport documented their arrival in Lisbon. Of course, the Portuguese capital started trending on X (formerly known as Twitter) following this. With European fans being excited to have BTS close to them after ages, ARMYs conjectured about why the group ended up travelling there.
BTS In Lisbon: Potential Music Video Or Bon Voyage?
There are speculations that the K-pop septet is in Portugal to film a music video for their upcoming comeback, which is scheduled for March 20, 2026. Beautiful gothic architecture offset by standout urban greenery is present in Lisbon, making it an ideal background for a BTS song. One fan even imagined that this supposed music video was for the House Of The Dragon series!
Another possibility could be a new season of Bon Voyage, the group’s travel variety show. Previous shoot locations include Northern Europe, Malta, and New Zealand. The group has mentioned that they wish to visit a new country for Bon Voyage during their post-military livestreams on Weverse.
