The performance brought joy to millions of ARMYs, but it reportedly caused trouble for some locals. Several brides and grooms in the Gwanghwamun area faced sudden changes because of road closures and heavy traffic. As per Koreaboo, one groom had to shift his wedding ceremony one hour earlier to 11 am.

He had to quickly tell all his guests about the last-minute switch, which led to confusion, and a few almost arrived late. Some flower shops even cancelled deliveries at the last minute, saying it was too hard to reach the venue with all the restrictions. The groom felt upset and said the city government and the group’s company, HYBE, offered no help or apology. He felt like the public square, which belongs to everyone, had been taken over without much thought for ordinary people.

Another groom was so angry that he talked about possibly suing the organisers for the trouble and extra costs. He had chosen a wedding spot near Gwanghwamun on purpose because it was easy to reach by public transport. The concert chaos turned his special day upside down and made him feel like his event did not matter compared to the global star power of BTS.
