Fans Demand Magazine To “Respect Jimin’s Artistry”
A well-known magazine, Rolling Stone, published an article ranking every solo song by BTS members. The list created a stir on the internet. Some fans were pleased, whereas others were confused. One such moment that raised fans’ eyebrows was the ranking of Jimin’s Like Crazy and its description.
The writer mentioned that Like Crazy had bold lyrics, like “Give me a good ride,” but Jimin’s warm vocals turned it into something softer and more heartfelt. This description didn’t sit well with ARMY, who felt it missed the song’s actual meaning. ARMY stated that it’s a reflection of vulnerability and emotional struggle and the magazine’s take was shallow.
One angry fan questioned whether the writer even researched the song properly and doubted their professionalism. Another fan was disappointed by the low ranking of Like Crazy compared to other songs. They stated that even casual content creators on platforms like YouTube had offered better interpretations.
Fans felt the focus on sensuality ignored the artistry and personal storytelling in Like Crazy. Therefore, they started trending hashtags like #RespectJiminArtistry.
Not just Jimin, fans of Jungkook were also disappointed with the magazine’s words for his solo songs. The fans believed that the writer belittled Jungkook’s vocal abilities.
