BTS’ Arirang Tracklist Featuring Diplo and Ryan Tedder Has Divided Netizens

BIGHIT MUSIC dropped the names of the songs on March 3, 2026, with no preamble. ARMY, the Korean group’s fanclub was sent into a major frenzy over the songs. The full album has a whopping 14 numbers, all of which feature credits by at least one member. Notably, while there are no featured artists, ‘ARIRANG’ has prolific songwriters and producers across South Korea and the United States.

Most fans reacted with excitement and enthusiasm about the unveiled tracklist. However, not everyone was happy with it. A few were disappointed with the ‘Dynamite’ group for working with dubious producers, namely Diplo and Ryan Tedder.

Fans Upset That BTS’ ARIRANG Has Dodgy Producers

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to make their displeasure known, netizens called out the band for working with problematic people. They spoke about how Diplo is allegedly a se*ual and physical abuser who has bragged about doing so. Many even called out the hypocrisy of ARMYs who were willing to overlook these allegations because it is a BTS album. Another called the producer “disgusting”.

Apart from Diplo, Ryan Tedder of One Republic was also a controversial choice, according to more social media users. Calling him out for supposedly being a zionist, they said fans were not talking about this enough. Other users mentioned how the producer has supposedly been “blocking” netizens who have publicly denounced him.
