BTS’s Album Hits Pause As Bang Si-hyuk Faces Fraud Probe And HYBE Raid: Reports
Reportedly, production of the group's album has been halted due to police investigating HYBE’s chairman.

The buzz about legendary group BTS’ upcoming album is on the next level. Every day fans’, aka armys eagerness and anticipation keep on increasing as reports claim that the group is staying in LA and working on the album. However, a shocking revelation has left fans disheartened. Reports claim that the production of the group’s album has been paused due to police investigating HYBE’s chairman Bang Si-hyuk over financial fraud. Read on to know all about it.
As reported by Sportskeeda, BTS’s album work in the U.S. was paused after Bang Si-hyuk, who runs HYBE, had to return to South Korea for a police investigation. Why? Because the police are looking into claims that he tricked investors during HYBE’s 2020 stock market launch. They think he might have made people believe the launch would be delayed and caused some to sell their shares to a company tied to HYBE’s leaders for a big profit.
This news has upset fans. They are in Los Angeles and have been working hard on their new album. Reports about them teaming up with big-name producers also surfaced and left fans super thrilled. Rumours about collaborating with Charlie Puth also came out after the ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ singer was spotted with the group members. But now, with the album on hold, everyone’s wondering when it will start again.
Earlier, Bang Si-hyuk sent an email to HYBE workers to explain things. He said his time abroad was for making music and planning HYBE’s future. But with the police investigation growing, he’s put those plans on hold to return to Korea. He promised to work with the police to clear things up and hopes the truth will come out soon. The HYBE chairman also said he knows this mess is causing trouble for HYBE and the music world.
More On The Investigation
As per reports, the investigation claims that the HYBE chairman made a lot of money, maybe over 190 billion won, through shady share deals. Police have searched HYBE’s Seoul office and other places, and they’re also checking the company’s taxes.
Now this new update has fans worried about BTS’s comeback, especially since it’s a big deal after their military service.
