Just recently, BigHit Music announced that BTS will go on a massive world tour. This news made fans around the globe very excited. Now, reports claim that the group could bring in more than 1 billion US dollars in one year from this tour. The money will come mostly from ticket sales but also from selling merchandise, the new album, and streaming. Read on to know more about it.
According to the BBC, this is almost four times more than what they earned from their last major tour. For a long time, BTS had very few shows outside South Korea because of various reasons. Now, with the world tour, fans from many countries will rush to buy tickets and this high demand is expected to push the earnings very high.

For those of you who don’t know, before the tour starts, the boy band will release their fifth full album on March 20, 2026. Following which, they’ll embark on their world tour with three big concerts in Goyang, South Korea. These shows are set for April 9, 11, and 12 in 2026. After that, the members will travel to many parts of the world until late 2026 and into 2027.

They will return to countries like Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Chile. These places have not seen BTS live since their 2017 Wings tour. Malaysia and Mexico will welcome them back for the first time since 2015. New countries on the list include Colombia, Argentina, and Peru.
The tour will cover many cities in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America. So far, plans include 79 shows in total. More dates for places like Japan, the Middle East, and other spots in 2027 will be shared later.
