Hold on to your bonnets, dearest gentle readers, for this season promises to be a whirlwind of scandal, romance, and intrigue. After the success of season 3 with the sizzling romance between Penelope and Colin, we are ready for the next perpetual bachelor we can’t get our eyes off of!
It’s Benedict’s Turn!
On Tuesday, July 23, Netflix dropped the teaser of Bridgerton season 4 and fans are going crazy! The caption read, “Welcome to the marriage mart Mr. Bridgerton. Benedict’s story is coming next season.” While many were confused about who would take centre stage in the next season, the OTT giant shook us with the announcement. Their announcement said, “It has been brought to this author’s attention that perhaps it is time to unmask the newest suitor of the marriage mart … Benedict Bridgerton’s story is coming next season.”
Following some of the sibling moments, the clip also includes a behind-the-scenes clip in which Thompson speaks about his costume for the masquerade ball, something that was teased in the season three finale. It will follow the events from Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel, An Offer From A Gentleman, which has Benedict searching for a “lady in silver” whom he met at a masquerade ball. Unknown to him, the woman named Sophie Beckett is a servant to a rude stepmother named Araminta Gunningworth.
Fans were really happy and excited in the comments. One user wrote, “BENEDICT NATION, WE FINALLY WON!!!” “Just please make haste with the next season! Don’t make us wait for ages in a melancholy existence!” Best looking of all the Bridgerton men.” Benedict Bridgerton sure has a lot of followers and for all the right reasons!
