During a recent chat with Sakshma Srivastav, Bridgerton star Luke Thompson’s answer to being asked about visiting India shocked everyone. He said, “Well, I am quarter Indian. Yeah, yeah, my grandmother is Indian, well, Indian English. So it would be lovely to come and meet my Indian fans one day.” This surprised even the cast of the show and the fans that their favourite star is quarter Indian!

Further into the conversation, Luke was asked if he had a secret Instagram account to stalk Bridgerton memes and content. To this, he said that though he was not active on social media, many came and showed him content of his show that goes viral. Revealing why he is not on Instagram, Thompson said that he found it too addictive, and that if he had it, he would be on it all the time. He remembered struggling to stop scrolling on TikTok while filming for Bridgerton season 3.
He also acknowledged how social media reaction to Bridgerton was important since it was the only source they could get, while the first season’s release during lockdown, the actor believed in just glimpsing from time to time.
