Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s married life ended on a rough note. The couple officially got divorced in 2024 December; however, they co-owned a winery. The recent reports suggest that the F1 actor has filed a case against his ex-wife and sued her for the damages that the sale of her stake in 2021. Many documents related to the same were submitted to the court. Read on to know more about the case.
Brad Pitt Sues Angelina Jolie
The actors co-owned the Chateau Miravel winery, but this professional relationship also took a sour turn when Brad Pitt filed a complaint against Angelina Jolie and submitted the related documents to the court, as per a report by PEOPLE. It also had an email response from Jolie’s lawyer in which he wrote that Brad Pitt was suing his ex-partner for $35 million, and he would have to pay the expenses of the documents that would show the proof of all the damages, as per the same report. This email was sent in 2023.
As per the reports, the film lawsuit was filed by Brad Pitt in 2022. The hearing on the matter will take place on December 17.
For the unversed, the duo were parents to 6 kids, however, they parted ways after 12 years of marriage. On the work front, Brad Pitt was seen in F1: The Movie, and the actor was hailed for his performance in the film. As for Angelina Jolie, she was last seen in Eternals, which released in 2021.
