The highly anticipated finale of the Korean reality show Boys Planet II took place yesterday. During the episode, the final lineup of the new boy group, Alpha Drive One, was announced, consisting of eight members. The group includes three Chinese members, four Korean members, and one American member. While some of the selected trainees were expected, viewers were surprised by the inclusion of some wild card entries. Here are the eight members of Alpha Drive One and everything you need to know about them!
Kim Junseo
The Alpha Drive One member who ranked in the eighth spot is Kim Junseo. The singer is also a part of a K-pop group Wei and has made his name in the industry with his impressive skills and visuals. Already having years of experience as a K-pop idol, fans are excited to see what Junseo will bring to the group.
Chung Sang Hyeon
Sang Hyeon is an 18-year-old trainee signed under WAKEONE and was known as the ‘visual poster’ of the show. The contestant gained popularity for his charm and rapping skills. He ranked at spot 7 on the show.
Lee Leo
Leo was a former trainee under BIGHIT Entertainment, home to powerhouse groups like BTS and TXT and is currently under GRID Entertainment. The Korean-Australian contestant gained a lot of attention during his stint in Boys Planet and has ranked at spot six in the finale.
Zhang Jia Hao
The 23-year-old Chinese trainee, signed under CHROMOSOME and Nouer Entertainment, captivated audiences with his personality and strong dance moves. Jia Hao also participated in KBS’s survival show in the past, Make Mate,1, but failed to make the final cut. The contestant finished at spot 5.
Kim Geon-woo
Currently not signed under a label, the contestant entered the show independently. Geon Woo ranked at spot 4 in the show. Securing his spot in Alpha Drive One with his impressive performances.
He Xin Long
A 20-year-old contestant signed under JYP Entertainment and is a member of the Chinese group, BOY STORY. Xin Long earned his place in the group through several viral moments that viewers loved.
Zhou An Xin
Another Chinese trainee who quickly became a fan favourite in the show. Zhou An Xin is a 19-year-old signed under CHROMOSOME and Nouer Entertainment. He maintained a strong spot on Boys Planet II, consistently maintaining the second spot.
Lee Sang Won
Finally, the contestant who secured first place in Boys Planet II is Lee Sang Won. Sang Won has maintained an impressive streak of maintaining his spot at number one throughout the show. The trainee’s cover for Aespa’s Whiplash gained 1 million views in under 24 hours, indicating his massive popularity.
