Seo In Guk Says THIS About Filming Please Don’t Music Video!

If one is a K-pop stan, chances are they’ve encountered the legendary ‘Please Don’t’ music video, sung by K.Will. With Seo In Guk, Ahn Jae Hyun, and Kim Da Som in lead roles, it showed a man sadly watching his friend getting married. Seo In Guk’s character attends the wedding while seemingly fighting his own growing feelings. Presumed to like the bride the whole video, he takes a picture with the happy couple. In a surprise twist, viewers find out that he actually has a crush on the groom. When he tears off the bride’s part of the photograph and places his image’s hand in that of Ahn Jae Hyun’s character.

Now, actor Seo In Guk spoke about his reaction to the jaw-dropping ending during an interview. While promoting Boyfriend On Demand with Jisoo, he admitted he was shocked by the revelation. In fact, Seo assumed it was a mistake, even asking the production staff and director whether the way he was directed to tear the picture was correct. Then he continued acting, crying after joining the two men’s hands, creating a masterpiece.

The fact that people still talk about it almost fourteen years after its release shows its profound impact on K-pop culture.
