Explained: ⁠What Does The Ending Of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Ft Lee Chae Min, Yoona Mean?

Are you a lover of K-Dramas? It’s definitely a mood, right? And the dreamy stories of these web shows transport you to some distant lands where the ending is always happy, isn’t it? Talking about K-Dramas, have you watched the most recent one, which has also already made a buzz among fans? It’s titled Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, and features Lee Chae Min and Yoona in lead roles. Spoilers ahead because we are explaining the ending here. Read on.

Ending Explained!

For many, the ending of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty may seem like a lot of information to take in, because the twists in the end we never saw coming. To simplify it for you, let’s break it down.

Towards the ending,  King Yi Heon (Lee Chae Min) tries his best to save Yeon Ji-young from Prince Jesan’s forces, in the battle. Unfortunately, that does not happen because Yeon Ji-young surrenders her life for the love of King Yi Heon. During the battle, the king is badly wounded, despite which he kills his uncle. This scene only becomes more magical and surprising when the ancient Mangunrok, which is actually the king’s journal lights up and taken Ji-Young back to the future. For the unversed, it was the same book that took her to the joseon era.

Back in the modern day, Ji-Young accepts her fate and moves on with her life and career. She becomes a Head Chef. However, the fans were not in for a sad ending here. King Yi Heon proves that his true love knew no boundaries, not even of time. He also comes in the modern to finally give the ending to his love story that we all were craving for.
