From Lara Dutta To Vishnu Manchu: Celebs Stuck In Dubai Amid War Share A Message To India
Celebrities including Lara Dutta, Ajith Kumar and Honey Singh were in Dubai as Middle East tensions escalated.
The war taking place in the Middle East has impacted many all over the world. Celebrities are no exception and many of them have been caught up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates amid the conflict. Some public personalities have spoken about their experiences in the UAE. Read on to find out which famous individuals from Bollywood and beyond were trapped in DXB.
Vishnu Manchu
Telegu star Vishnu Machu was visiting family in the UAE capital when he witnessed the frightening sights across the sky. The flying objects scared his little daughter Ayra, which made him proclaim that no child should ever have to be privy to war near their home.
Ajith Kumar
Another actor, Ajith Kumar, known for Tamil movies, was also trapped in Dubai. Fans were aware of the star frequenting the UAE and Saudi Arabia for his business. In fact, he happened to be there when the conflict started too. However, his manager let everyone know that he is safe in Dubai, waiting to return to India.
Nargis Fakhri
Among Bollywood, this Rockstar actress was also in the United Arab Emirates. She calls Dubai her permanent home, but the suddenness of all the air weapons left her in a states of uncertainty. Nargis Fakhri lives there with her husband, and she admitted to being wide awake even in the middle of the night. Scary times, indeed.
Subhashree Ganguly
Bengali actress Subhashree Ganguly ended up stranded in the Emirati capital after flight cancellations. She had travelled there with her son Yuvaan for a vacation, but was unable to make her way back afterwards. Reportedly, she was following the precautionary guidelines issues by the officials by staying indoors. It is unclear if the she has returned to India or not.
Lara Dutta
The Bhagam Bhag actress has been in Dubai with her daughter. She posted a heartfelt video on Instagram talking about scary it had been to be in the city while jets and missiles were zooming in the sky. However, she praised the UAE government for keeping civilians safe.

Yo Yo Honey Singh
The ‘Blue Eyes’ rapper and musician found himself in Dubai. While the reports of fires were rampant, Honey Singh said that news reports of a worsening situation in Dubai are highly exaggerated. He called the capital city “chill” and informed fans that he was working.
Jay Bhattacharya
Bollywood singer Jay Bhattacharya, son of Abhijeet Bhattacharya, has also been stuck in Dubai amid the war. His father made an emotional plea to the Indian government to bring his son back. However, UAE residents reassured the vocalist that he would be fairly safe in their country.

Apart from the names mentioned above, Preity Zinta, Esha Gupta, and Sonal Chauhan were some other Indian celebrities who ended up in Dubai during the present war. They have managed to make their way home, however. These actors have universally praised the UAE officials for their efficiency and levelheadedness in a crisis situation.
