It Ends With Us stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s case has hit a major turn. Recent reports suggest that the former’s claim against social media PR specialist Jed Wallace helping the latter’s PR team in a smear campaign against her has been dismissed. The judge granted Wallace’s request to remove himself and his company, Street Relations, Inc., from Lively’s civil rights lawsuit.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Judge Liman cited a lack of jurisdiction as the reason. It was noted that Jed Wallace is from Texas and not New York City, where Blake Lively filed the case. They said, “The Wallace Defendant’s motion to dismiss must be granted because the Court lacks personal jurisdiction over them.” If the actress wants to continue her case against Wallace, she has to amend her complaint or do so in another forum.
The Gossip Girl actress’s deposition, initially scheduled to take place on Thursday, will be taking place on July 31, as per court orders, according to TMZ. She alleged that Jed weaponised a ‘digital army’ against her to ‘create, seed, and promote’ depreciatiung content against her after being hired by Justin Baldoni’s PR team. These claims were denied by him.

Wallace also filed his own case against Blake claiming that she defamed him and his company when she filed a case against Justin Bladoni in 2024. In the case, she claimed that Baldono se*ually harassed her and attempted to destroy her reputation her during the filming of their film It Ends With Us.
