The two used to be very close to each other, so much so that the singer was the godmother of the actor’s kids. The drama started after Blake Lively tried contacting Taylor Swift for support in her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. But when her attempts went unanswered, she took a step back. And reports suggested that Lively didn’t reach out to her ex BFF following her engagement announcement and has no plans to do so. An insider told Daily Mail, “This isn’t the time. What would be the point of reaching out now? It really makes no sense. [Lively] has bigger fish to fry.”
Blake also reportedly moved on from her friendship with Swift. Sources told the publication that she doesn’t even bring up the ‘Karma’ singer in her conversations and that there was no contemplation about her going to the wedding. Though the It Ends With Us actor’s 38th birthday came just before her engagement party. But sources close to her say that this timing doesn’t bother Blake at all. She isn’t spending her time thinking about her ex-BFF’s news and comparing moments because she is busy with her life.
