In recent events, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni arrived at a New York courtroom for a settlement conference amid their ongoing legal battle over It Ends With Us. The court-ordered settlement marked the first time the co-stars had been spotted together in person since their dispute began in December 2024. The two arrived 33 minutes apart in Manhattan, wearing similar-looking outfits.
About Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni
The internet was quick to point out the unexpected twinning done by the co-stars, of course, unintentionally. Both of them were spotted in pastel pink tops paired with coats and pants in shades of green. They couldn’t help but comment on this coincidence, with many speculating whether this colour coordination was intentional. As per reports, a source close to the matter said that Lively and Baldoni spent the day in separate courtrooms while Magistrate Judge Sarah L Cave moved between the two legal teams.
The settlement conference is a regular procedure in federal civil proceedings that determines if a dispute may be resolved before proceeding to trial. The trial is slated for May 18. Outside the courthouse, Justin’s attorney, Freedman, told the media that both parties would return on Thursday for a ‘different matter on the docket’, though they did not clarify whether the actors would be present.
More On Them
The legal drama began on December 20, 2024, when Lively filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department. In her case, she accused Baldoni of s*xual harassment and retaliation while filming their 2024 romantic drama. The actress then filed a federal lawsuit on December 31 and an updated complaint in February 2025, citing a “multi-tiered plan” to harm her reputation. Baldoni countersued, but a federal judge dismissed the suit in June and formally ended it in November, when a time to amend expired.
