Multiple claims and allegations are being made against both parties in the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni defamation case. One of the recent developments in the trial is that Blake criticises Baldoni for challenging various women’s rights organisations that spoke out against him. A spokesperson for Lively has revealed that over 19 leading survivors and women’s rights activists have signed more than four amicus briefs. An amicus brief is a legal document that is submitted by an individual who is not a party to the case but has a significant interest in the legal outcome.
Who Are The Organisations Backing Blake Lively
Blake Lively’s spokesperson has said that these particular organisations are standing against Baldoni’s attempt to dismantle a law that protects women when they want to speak up. The statement further noted that the latest amicus briefs have been filed by Child USA and Sanctuary for Families. These are renowned nonprofits that have experts from all over the world and are dedicated to supporting people who take a stand for themselves. Other organisations to have signed the brief are the National Organisation for Women, Women’s Justice NOW and National Network to End Domestic Violence.

Blake’s Team Says Justin Baldoni Is Contradicting His Image
Lively’s spokesperson went on to say that rather than defend his case, Baldoni is now contradicting years of his own public image. He is abandoning the #MeToo message that he relayed to fans through podcasts and public speeches. Justin often urged men to listen to the women in their lives and actually believe them. This, according to Blake Lively and her legal team, is in stark contrast to Baldoni’s current actions.
About The Lawsuit
News about the conflict between the two It Ends With Us costars first arose in December 2024 when Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, accusing the latter of s*xual harassment and damaging her reputation.
