Here’s Why Internet Thinks BLACKPINK Rosé’s ‘For Your Consideration’ Campaign Might Lead To Grammy Disqualification!

The online world is constantly buzzing with heated debates and discussions on countless topics. The latest one revolves around BLACKPINK’s Rosé, whose Grammy “For Your Consideration” campaign has caused a big stir. While her push for a nomination has excited fans, it has also sparked controversy. Some people are claiming that she has broken the Recording Academy’s strict rules. Read on to know more about it.

Why Netizens Believe BLACKPINK’s Rosé Could Face Grammy Award Disqualification

Earlier, the K-pop idol was accused of misrepresenting her achievements and now internet users shared screenshots of a page that boasted about her album and song APT, claiming it had “nearly 2 billion views”. Netizens quickly pointed out that these numbers might exaggerate her achievements. Some people added that this could mislead Academy voters, which is against the guidelines for Grammy promotional materials.

Meanwhile, the rules for Grammy campaign packages are clear but strict. Artists can send music and basic information to voters, but they must avoid false claims or unverified stats.

Rosé’s ad has been accused of breaking these rules by including questionable streaming numbers and possibly misrepresenting awards or honours. While no official statement has confirmed a violation, internet users added that the campaign could potentially risk her nomination chances.

Many supporters even claimed that it won’t be a huge problem. They also said that “haters” are exaggerating the issue. Whether this will impact her Grammy chances remains unclear.
