BLINKs Furious After BLACKPINK Rosé Nearly Falls From Stage During DEADLINE Tour

Stage safety and protocols are one of the main things that should be considered during tours. Recently, when K-pop girl group BLACKPINK was performing in the Philippines for their DEADLINE tour, the stage lift near the spot where the members were standing suddenly opened and started going down before coming to an immediate halt. BLACKPINK’s Rosé narrowly escaped falling off the stage as Jennie, who was standing next to her, helped her regain her balance. Though nothing serious happened to her, fans of the group were very concerned about the member’s health and well-being.

The group’s fandom, BLINKs, urged their label, YG Entertainment, to take better safety precautions, and some even criticised the show’s venue organiser and tour promoter for the lift’s malfunction. This is not the first time that BLACKPINK fans have raised safety concerns. Back in June, during their Los Angeles concert, the stage door unexpectedly shut and almost injured Lisa.
Fans who attended the concert in the Philippines recalled how scared they were to see the sight unfold. One fan said that her heart was almost in her mouth when she saw Rosé and Jennie near the scene of the mishap.

In July 2025, all members of BLACKPINK reunited for their global world tour titled DEADLINE after a two-year hiatus. The second phase of their tour kicked off in October and will conclude in January 2026. The group is also expected to make a comeback next year.
All the group members also embarked on their solo journeys this year, releasing albums and brand collabs that have been well-received by both fans and netizens.
