Criticism Of BLACKPINK’s JUMP
On July 5 and 6, BLACKPINK took to the stage and finally performed the song live. International fans praised the song for its energy and choreography. A few posts went viral on Korean platforms like TheQoo, where many were criticising the song, calling it B-grade. Some feel that the quality of the song was affected by post-renewal creative changes.
The DEADLINE tour marks BLACKPINK’s first group activity since wrapping up their record-breaking BORN PINK world tour in 2023. The tour also marks a new chapter for BLACKPINK as it is their first activity as a group after contract renewal with YG Entertainment. Aside from BLACKPINK group activities, all the members have launched successful solo careers in music, acting, and fashion
As ‘JUMP’ has yet to be released officially in studio quality, opinions may shift once fans hear the finalised track. Until then, all eyes remain on how BLACKPINK’s long-awaited comeback will perform on domestic and international charts.
