The BLACKPINK singer further revealed the details of this project on her Instagram. BLACKPINK’s Lisa Announces New Short Film With Sakaguchi Kentaro
Today, 11th August, BLACKPINK’s Lisa took to her Instagram to announce that she will be releasing a short film for her emotionally charged song ‘Dream.’ However, that’s not the only thing fans got to know; the film will star Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro alongside Lisa herself! The film for Dream is set to be released on August 13 at 11 PM EST (8:30 AM IST).
In her Instagram post, BLACKPINK’s Lisa shared the poster for the film along with the caption, “An emotional, beautiful story that will soon be yours.”
Fans are very excited after this announcement. They have long suspected that the two celebrities may have been working on something together. Both Lisa and Sakaguchi Kentaro were seen posting similar pictures on their social media with the song Dream playing in the background. Kentaro Sakaguchi was also seen at BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE concert in Goyang, South Korea, and was also spotted in the VIP area with Lisa’s family.

Dream is the 13th track that is featured on Lisa’s debut album ALTER EGO, released February 28. The album has received accolades and achievements, including a #1 debut on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. While best known for being a singer and rapper, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has also made waves with her acting skills as she starred in the hit show White Lotus Season 3.
