The Dream short film tells an emotional story of a couple navigating their relationship through love and loss. It begins at a funeral, where Lisa’s character notices Kentaro’s character. Then, we get to see flashbacks of their relationship. It includes their sweet moments and conversation. Following which, in the short film, Lisa holds an urn with her husband’s ashes. The final scenes show her scattering the ashes into a serene lake and bringing closure to their story. The ending hits hard.

Fans were all praises for the K-pop idol and her ability to showcase all kinds of emotions. Other than that, the chemistry between Lisa and Kentaro was a cherry on the cake. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, as a small group of fans criticised the K-pop idol for being too close with the Japanese actor on-screen. Some even stated that the intimate scenes were a reflection of her personal desires. It also led to baseless rumours.
