The wait is over! K-pop group BLACKPINK is back with a bang with their new single, 'JUMP'.
BLACKPINK is finally in our area, as after a long wait, the queens have arrived with a new single called ‘Jump.’ The hype for this comeback was huge, and why not? Fans, aka BLINKs, have been patiently waiting, and now their wait is over. The song was first heard during the K-pop group’s Deadline world tour in Seoul. Now, the full music video has been released. ‘Jump’ was produced by Diplo and JUMPA and features a sample from the 1997 electronic song ‘Meet Her at the Loveparade’ by DJ Da Hool. The music video begins with 4 solo billboards for each member, followed by a grand group billboard. In front of this group billboard, Rosé kicks off the song, and soon the other members join in. The girls perform in front of the large billboard, while excited fans below cheer and go crazy.
The song’s catchy beats and powerful rap parts have left fans, both in the music video and in real life, amazed. BLINKs are all praises for the group’s fresh style and sound. The music video is 3 minutes and 13 seconds long, and it never makes you feel bored. Instead, it keeps you engaged and forces you to nod along to the beat. The energy of ‘Jump’ is infectious and has once again proved BLACKPINK’s talent and artistry.
Meanwhile, the group has embarked on their world tour titled Deadline. They began in Seoul and held two shows at the iconic Goyang stadium. Many celebs like J-Hope, Jihyom and more attended day 2 of the tour.
