After a wait of 2 and a half years, K-pop girl group BLACKPINK is finally back. The group has reunited to go on a world tour titled ‘DEADLINE’ and also released a new single called ‘JUMP.’ BLACKPINK had performed this new track at their first DEADLINE show at the Goyang Stadium in Seoul. The group has now dropped the official teaser for the music video, but instead of being excited, fans spot something that left them disappointed.
Fans were initially thrilled by the JUMP teaser, excited to see the powerful concept come to life in the music video. However, the teaser clip quickly came under fire after some people claimed that many scenes of the MV may have been created using generative AI. A post currently going viral on social media points out certain frames of the music video that look overly edited or unnatural.
A user pointed out that the billboard featured in the teaser, which shows all four members standing in front of it, looks very unrecognisable and heavily altered. Although there is no official confirmation that AI was used to film the music video, the possibility of it happening has frustrated the fans.

AI has been a controversial topic in the K-pop industry. Many feel that it kills creativity and disrespects actual artists who work hard to make their art. People feel that using AI is unethical and lazy. BLACKPINK’s fans are hoping that these allegations are not true and are disproven once the entire music video for JUMP is released.
