The song was first teased earlier this week by Jisoo without revealing the identity of the male artist featured on the track. ‘Eyes Closed’ is a ballad song accompanied by acoustic guitar, bass, synth and warm keys. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes song chart, surpassing top acts like the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and Taylor Swift. ‘Eyes Closed’ also broke the record for the biggest 24-hour debut for a duet on YouTube for 2025, with 10 million views.
BLACKPINK Jisoo and Zayn Malik’s songs also debuted at spot no. 1 on the iTunes Global Chart. It also became the Top New Entry on the worldwide and European iTunes Song charts, landing at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, after reaching No. 1 in 33+ countries and No. 3 on US iTunes, scoring the Top debut of 2025 for a K-pop female Artist!
