BLACKPINK Jennie Under Fire For Rude Behaviour Towards Staff, Fans Clarify What Exactly Happened
BLACKPINK Jennie draws criticism for the way she handled a wardrobe malfunction during her latest concert.

BLACKPINK recently reunited as 4 on stage! The girl group kicked off their first show of their ongoing world tour, DEADLINE. BLINKs were excited to see the members after two years, and their concert did not disappoint. However, the concert was not without controversy as Jennie came under fire for what was a minor stage hiccup, but turned into a heated online debate.
BLACKPINK Jennie’s Alleged Rude Behaviour During Wardrobe Malfunction
The drama arose while singing as part of the rendition of their song ‘Forever Young’, as Jennie appeared to struggle with a wardrobe malfunction with her shoe. Videos document her gesturing towards one of the crew members backstage, pointing at her shoe, and apparently mimicking how it should be tied. What seemed to some like a moment of panic was deemed rude and entitled by others.

Video of the confrontation spread like wildfire in a few hours, with millions of views and a wave of angry tweets. Some branded her language and actions as disrespectful to the staff. A few went as far as to resort to unnecessary name-calling towards BLACKPINK Jennie.
But the singer’s fans jumped into action to defend her. They responded that Jennie was smiling at the end of the encounter and that her movements were due to her ongoing performance, not arrogance. Dealing with a malfunction in a live stage setting, with cameras and thousands of eyes upon you, is not exactly easy.
According to OP, JENNIE had a small shoe issue during “Forever Young.” It didn’t seem like part of the planned performance, but she handled it so naturally, and the BLACKPINK members came over to check on her and helped her handle it together. 🥹🫶 pic.twitter.com/tuc02iiZ4y
