On July 18, BLACKPINK’s Jennie posted an Instagram dump from the group’s recent Los Angeles concert for their DEADLINE tour. The post featured Jennie on stage with her dancers, hanging out backstage, wearing her iconic ‘Like JENNIE’ bra top and most importantly, her BLACKPINK members. Fans were loving the post until some noticed that Jennie’s picture with Rosé had been deleted, a while after the post was uploaded.
The now deleted picture of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Rosé was featured in the artist’s carousel post between pictures with other members, Jisoo and Lisa. While pictures with the latter remain, Rosé’s are nowhere to be found.
Some users speculate this indicates that Jennie and Rosé are on bad terms, while others were quick to defend Jennie by encouraging people not to jump to conclusions.
Some BLINKs think that the reason behind Jennie deleting the picture might not be so controversial. It could be that Rosé did not like the lighting or angle of it and asked Jennie to remove it from her post, or maybe it did not fit the overall aesthetic of her dump. They do not think that there is bad blood between the two members, as Rosé still appears in the group pictures on Jennie’s post.
However, despite people defending her, some, especially Rosé’s fans, feel that Jennie deleting the picture was offensive and disrespectful.
