Some netizens didn’t like the theme of her photoshoot. They stated that the photos had a major “Lolita” and “paedophilia” vibe. For the unversed, the lolita concept comes from a famous book by Vladimir Nabokov. That story explores a harmful bond between an older man and a young girl. In fashion, it often means outfits that look innocent and childlike but add a hint of grown-up allure.
Many netizens were worried it sent the wrong message about beauty and age. The discussion became heated as people shared their unease about the images.
They called the outfits unsettling and even harmful. As per Koreaboo, one common view was that the styles felt too focused on a childish look with an adult twist, which made people uncomfortable. Some stated that the magazine should have picked a more mature theme instead. They also expressed fear that such concepts could affect young girls negatively.
