Recently, BTS V posted a vlog of his time in Los Angeles, where he attended the Vogue World event after being personally invited by Anna Wintour. In the video, there was a segment where V was in his hotel bathroom washing his face and later going to the gym. It was this moment that sparked the dating rumours as the clothes he was wearing were very similar to Jennie’s.
BTS V was wearing plaid blue pyjamas, and BLACKPINK Jennie has also been spotted wearing a similar set during an airport arrival. ‘Couple items’ are very popular in South Korea, and couples often wear or have matching items like clothes, caps, watches and other accessories.
Hence, a TikTok of the two idols wearing similar patterned clothes went viral and garnered over 71,000 likes. The comment section of the TikTok was, however, divided, with some expressing their happiness at this dating “clue” by commenting “Taennie Forever” (the couple’s ship name) while others said that this is a reach. They pointed out that the particular pyjama set is very common, and since nobody knows the brand, assuming that it’s the same is absurd.

Career-wise, BLACKPINK Jennie is currently on a world tour with the group titled DEADLINE. Earlier this year, she released her debut album, Ruby, which featured chart-topping hits like ‘Mantra’ and ‘Love Hangover’. BTS V, on the other hand, flew to LA recently to attend the Vogue World event. Back in July, he also worked on the group’s upcoming album with other members, set to be released in 2026 in the city.
