All About Azealia Bank’s Controversial Comment
She questioned how K-pop idols are “getting all this love from notoriously racist European fashion houses before the plethora of hiphop artists who have been showing love?” The American rapper also slammed K-pop idols, saying, “Especially when these K-pop artists are largely making crappy facsimile urban Americana hip-hop music? However, once again, Azealia Banks attacked Blackpink’s Lisa’s Met Gala 2025 look and made a transphobic comment. The American rapper took to her X handle and called the K-pop idol a man. To justify her statement, Azealia Banks questioned female K-pop idols’ stamina. In response, fans lashed out at her. One fan wrote, “Racist and transphobic? Damn, you’re not just ugly; you’re a whole walking red flag. Must be exhausting being that s*itty of a person 24/7.”
Another fan wrote, “You have to be a very bitter and unloving person to say such absurd things as the ones you mentioned, in addition to being racist and transphobic; just improve.” Our thoughts? Questioning women’s strength is the lowest you could go. We all know women are really strong both mentally and physically as well and don’t need to prove it. Everything mentioned in the American rapper’s statement is absurd.
