After a wait of 2 years, K-pop group BLACKPINK is finally going to reunite for group activities. The BLACKPINK members had been focusing on their solo activities for a while, but their company, YG Entertainment, announced that the group will be releasing new music and going on tour soon. However, the rollout for the group’s activities, which includes releasing a new song too, has disappointed many fans.
BLACKPINK had their last comeback in 2022 with ‘Born Pink’, ever since that, the group’s fandom, BLINKs, have been patiently waiting for new releases from the K-pop girl group. YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK will be going on a world tour titled DEADLINE and will perform a new song in their first concert.

What disappointed fans, however, was that rather than releasing content of all 4 members together, the company is instead releasing merchandise like lightsticks and clothing to fans. Fans were also disappointed by a preview of the concert’s setlist. Clips of BLACKPINK rehearsing for the upcoming shows surfaced online, where they were rehearsing their popular songs like ‘As If It’s Your Last’ and ‘Forever Young’.
BLINKs were expecting BLACKPINK to perform new songs or the ones they had not performed before. With the group’s Seoul dates soon approaching for the DEADLINE tour, fans are hoping that, despite the criticisms, the concert lives up to their expectations.

BLACKPINK’s DEADLINE tour begins on July 5, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea, and is currently scheduled to conclude on January 25, 2026, in Hong Kong. The tour includes stops in Asia, North America, and Europe, with a focus on stadium venues.
