BLACKPINK’s Company Confirms They Are Shooting A New Music Video And Fans Are Losing It!
After a wait of nearly 3 years, BLACKPINK is shooting a new music video for their highly anticipated comeback.

The BLACKPINK comeback is more real than ever! On June 6, the group’s agency, YG Entertainment, issued a statement regarding the long-awaited return of BLACKPINK. They confirmed that the group has begun filming a brand new music video for their upcoming release, and fans are overflowing with excitement. Discussions about a potential music video release started when a fan captured clips of the group at a shoot location, which quickly went viral. Here is everything you need to know about it.
This comeback is especially important as it marks their first group release together in nearly three years. Their last group activity was the Born Pink tour in 2022. YG Entertainment has now revealed that an internationally renowned director is set to direct the music video. Their statement read, “We are filming in Korea with a renowned international director. As a result, another iconic music video that encapsulates BLACKPINK’s identity and musical colour will be born. It’s a special collaboration worthy of BLACKPINK’s status as a top-tier global artist, so you can definitely look forward to it.”

Major details about the comeback have, however, been kept under wraps. The title, concept, and exact release date are yet to be disclosed. However, the announcement of the music video shoot is a significant step towards the comeback.

BLACKPINK is also set to embark on a world tour titled ‘Deadline’ in July 2025. The tour will kick off in Seoul and will have 31 shows across 16 cities. Fans are eager to see their favourite group in various major stadiums, including Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Paris, London, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Singapore.
Meanwhile, the members of BLACKPINK have been focusing on their solo careers for the past two years. Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé released their full-length albums titled ‘Ruby’, ‘Alter Ego’, and ‘Rosie’, respectively.
