After cryptic months of cryptic messages, vague statements, and recap compilation videos of their last tour, K-pop group BLACKPINK has finally announced the official title of their upcoming world tour: DEADLINE. With less than 2 months to go before the tour starts, fans have started counting down the dates to the highly anticipated tour.
On May 16, BLACKPINK dropped a surprise update across all their official social media accounts. They revealed that their 2025 tour will be called the DEADLINE World Tour. The post featured no caption, no emojis, and no context, just the word DEADLINE written in pink on a black background. BLACKPINK first started hinting at their new world tour back in February. The group released a teaser video announcing their upcoming global event, followed by the initial list of tour dates and venues on a later date.
According to the schedule released, BLACKPINK will kick off their tour with a two-day stop at the massive Goyang Stadium in South Korea on July 5 and 6, 2025. The tour will then span multiple countries and continents, like Europe, the USA, and South America. The grand finale of the tour will take place at the Tokyo Dome with a three-night concert run from January 16 to 18, 2026.

Fans are drawing up multiple theories relating to the tour and album. With some believing the group might also announce new musical projects to perform at the tour or after its conclusion. Regardless of this theory being true or not, everybody is excited to see the girl perform together after a very long time!
The group has remained tight-lipped, revealing very little information about the upcoming tour. Rosé recently revealed in an interview at the 2025 Met Gala that the group reunited recently in the studio to work on new music.
Adding even more heat to the situation was Rosé’s recent appearance at the 2025 Met Gala. Dressed in a custom high-fashion dress, Rosé stole the spotlight, but not just for her stunning look. During a red carpet interview, she casually dropped a bombshell: BLACKPINK has reunited in the studio to work on new music.
