Every day, BTS fans, known as ARMY, are blessed with exciting updates about their favourite group. From magazine cover shoots to their achievements, it keeps them thrilled and how. Recently, rumours spread that BTS had recorded an unreleased Michael Jackson song for a tribute album. This news sent fans into a frenzy. However, BTS’ agency soon released a statement to clarify that the reports were untrue. Read on to know more!
Earlier, The Irish Sun reported that BTS had worked with Grouse Lodge Studios in Ireland. The studio was supposedly recording songs originally written for Michael Jackson and meant for an unreleased album. Paddy Dunning, the studio’s owner, claimed that BTS had already recorded one of these tracks. It created immense hype, as BTS has always admired Michael Jackson and the group’s super hit song Dynamite is also a nod to the legendary artist’s style.
However, on Tuesday, BTS’ agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, issued a clear statement and denied the claims. They wrote that BTS had never visited Grouse Lodge Studios or recorded any songs for the tribute album. The agency mentioned that the group had no connection to the project and was focused on stopping false information from spreading. BIGHIT MUSIC also thanked fans for their support and promised to keep protecting BTS’ reputation and work.
With this, fans were once again reminded to trust official sources only. Well, while the idea of a Michael Jackson tribute album created massive buzz online, fans now know it’s not in the works. But there’s still hope among them and only time will tell if it takes a turn and fans get to witness it.
Meanwhile, the group are busy preparing their full-length album in the US. As per reports, they are staying together and are working hard to make the much-awaited comeback.
