The excitement about Bigg Boss 19 is growing as the Salman Khan-hosted reality show prepares for its grand launch on August 24. Although the official list of contestants has been kept secret, new reports suggest that Himanshi Narwal, Vinay Narwal’s wife, who was a naval officer and was killed in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, may be entering the show. Pahalgam Victim’s Wife Himanshi Narwal Rumoured To Join Bigg Boss 19
According to a report by Tellychakkar, Himanshi Narwal is being considered as one of the contestants for Bigg Boss 19. The show’s producers are reportedly contemplating recruiting Himanshi to add an emotional touch and provide her with a platform to share her story. The source, as quoted by the portal, stated, “The makers want a couple of contestants who can immediately connect with viewers, and Himanshi Narwal’s narrative can connect. However, nothing has been finalised yet.” However, contrary to these rumours, some sources say that Himanshi Narwal has not been approached or is not in negotiations for Bigg Boss 19.
Himanshi Narwal was first spotted in public this year when her husband, Navy officer Vinay Narwal, was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The newlywed couple had been on their honeymoon at the time of the tragedy. Disturbing photos of Himanshi grieving over her husband’s body quickly went viral on social media, arousing universal sympathy.
Then, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav, went on to reveal later in one of his vlogs that Himanshi was also his college buddy. “I passed out in 2018, and after that, we hadn’t spoken. We used to have lots of fun back then, even travelling together to the metro station. I had her number, but after what happened, I couldn’t muster up the strength to call her. It’s not a time when you can speak anything,” he revealed.
While Himanshi’s participation in Bigg Boss 19 is still unclear, a few other celebrity names have been reported to participate in the new season as well. Such as Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, and Munmun Dutta, and Lataa Saberwal, Faisal Shaikh (Mr. Faisu), Jannat Zubair, Purav Jha, and Apoorva Mukhija.
