Veteran Indian television actor Gaurav Khanna won the 19th season of Bigg Boss, and fans were really happy with his victory. His parents were also incredibly proud of their son, but amid this, they also expressed their anger towards other contestants from the Salman Khan-hosted show, who crossed all boundaries during the conflict with their son. During a conversation with IANS, Gaurav Khanna’s father said, Contestants like Zeishan Quadri and Abhishek Bajaj were quite aggressive, resulting in numerous confrontations between them and Gaurav.” He said that regardless, he knew that his son would handle everything independently, as one needs to defend themself without anyone’s assistance. When asked if anyone targeting his son made him feel angry, he said that he felt it with Farrhana Bhatt, who ‘ridiculed him.’
Khanna referred to the situation when Bhatt referred to Gaurav as a ‘superstar’ in a disrespectful manner and doubted his profession as well as his success as an actor. He said that when it happened, his son’s anger was visible as his neck veins were bulging. And amid this, his father even said that he was unsure as to how he would have reacted, had he been there, and might have even hit Farrhana.
The proud father also spoke about his son’s performance on the show. He admitted that initially, he did not enjoy watching his son compete indoors, as there were frequent confrontations and he struggled to understand why his son had chosen to participate. However, after observing how his son handled difficulties and even outperformed others, he realised that his son was approaching everything with calmness and maturity.
