Bigg Boss 19: Daboo Malik Says His Own Behaviour Shaped Son Amaal Mallik’s Anger Issues

While many called him ‘temperamental,’ others called him ‘pathetic.’ And in recent updates, his father, Daboo Mallik, made an appearance on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode and supported and guided his son on his performance and behaviour.
The singer’s father sat for a chat with News18 Showsha and revealed that only he was to be blamed for his son, Amaal’s anger. He said, “Was I mature enough to bring up a child and give him the right guidance and direction? Was I a father who minded his P-s and Q-s? No, I had many faults. I was temperamental too. He grew up seeing the worst in me.” While defending his son, the veteran composer claimed that he would’ve been an even more aggressive contestant on the show.
He mentioned that surviving inside the Bigg Boss house would be a breeze for him, thanks to everything he has experienced so far. He confidently suggested that he’d easily outsmart most contestants and keep them on their toes. According to him, people have no idea how sharp and unpredictable he can be, and if he ever stepped into the house, the atmosphere would turn chaotic and explosive in no time.
During the same session, Daboo admitted that he had urged Amaal to participate in the show. When asked if he regretted pushing him, he explained that Amaal has authority over what happens inside the house. However, there is an outside universe with opinions over which he has no influence, and this has the potential to completely break him. He went on to say that bot comments and negative PR can damage ‘the fabric of one’s existence’.
