Bigg Boss 18’s Karan Veer Mehra Blames His Male Ego For Divorce With Nidhi Seth, Calls It Hasty Decision
During a conversation with fellow Bigg Boss contestant Kashish Kapoor, Karan opened up about his relationship journey!

Karan Veer Mehra, who’s currently in the spotlight for his participation in Bigg Boss 18, recently got real about his personal life, sharing the story behind his two marriages. Known for his fiery personality on the show, Karan took a moment to reflect on his relationships, especially his second marriage to actress Nidhi Seth, which ended in 2023. The two had tied the knot in 2021, only for things to end a couple of years later. Before his relationship with Nidhi, Karan had been married to Devika Mehra, but this didn’t work out due to evolving differences.
Karan Veer Mehra On His Marriage With Nidhi Seth
During a conversation with fellow Bigg Boss contestant Kashish Kapoor, Karan opened up about his relationship journey. He confirmed that he’s now single and, for the most part, happy with that. When discussing his first marriage to Devika, he explained that over time, they had simply grown into different people. The spark they once shared had faded, and eventually, they both realized they no longer connected in the way they had when they first fell in love.
Karan went on to talk about his second marriage with Nidhi, admitting that it was probably rushed. The two got married during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when everyone’s lives felt uncertain and unpredictable. Looking back, Karan feels the pandemic created a sense of urgency, pushing them to make a quick decision to marry without giving it enough thought. Since it was a second marriage for both, they assumed it would naturally work out. They felt pressured by the fear of future lockdowns and not knowing what was to come, which led them to tie the knot without truly preparing for the challenges ahead.

But as time went on, small issues between them kept cropping up and started to pile on. Karan admitted that his own ego got in the way, turning minor disagreements into ongoing conflicts. Eventually, they both realized it wasn’t working, and he accepted that his actions contributed to the marriage’s falling apart.
Nidhi, in a separate interview, shared her perspective, calling her marriage to Karan a mistake. She explained that basic things like mutual respect, financial stability, and peace of mind were missing, which made it clear to her that ending things was the best choice.
