Bigg Boss 18: Digvijay Rathee Body Shaming Yamini Malhotra Is Reminder That Unrealistic Beauty Standards Still Exist

This week of Bigg Boss 18 brought extra drama and entertainment with the arrival of three wildcard contestants. From Aditi Mistry to Yamini Malhotra, the wildcard entries have created a buzz among fans and housemates. Earlier, Eisha Singh, Alice Kaushik and Kashish Kapoor criticised wildcard contestants for alleged cosmetic surgeries. And now, Digvijay Rathee body-shamed Yamini Malhotra in the latest episode.

Digivijay Rathee Body Shames New Wildcard Entry Yamini Malhotra

Digvijay Rathee became the Time God of the Week in the latest episode. In response, contestants Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, and Tajinder Bagga went against him and refused to do their household chores. Furthermore, Digvijay Rathee was seen body shaming the new wildcard contestant Yamini Malhotra. While Digvijay was sitting on the bed, Yamini asked him to assign the duties from there. Yamini then pointed out that there was an elephant behind Digvijay (painting of an elephant). He quickly responded that there was an elephant in front of him too. His comment confused Yamini so he repeated saying that there was an elephant in the front and behind too.

Yamini took offence rightfully and stated, “Don’t say that. What will my audience think?” Furthermore, she laughed and added, “I’m making you the king, and you’re calling me an elephant.” Well, we think Bigg Boss contestants should have a filter in their mouths and control what they say. Moreover, their mentality needs to be changed. Several people are watching you say such mean words. They need to be considerate of others and think twice before they speak because body-shaming is not at all acceptable!
