In a surprising turn of events, Ankita Lokhande, despite being one of the highest-paid and strongest contenders, found herself eliminated from Bigg Boss 17, securing the fourth position in the grand finale. The actor, known for her resilience and strong presence, gracefully accepted the audience’s decision, leaving Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, and Abhishek Kumar as the top three contestants.

Ankita’s elimination marked another instance of Bigg Boss’ inherent unpredictability, challenging preconceived notions about the finalists. Despite the setback, Ankita remained poised and expressed gratitude towards her fans, emphasizing that her journey on the show was not a source of disappointment. As her mother offered support during this pivotal moment, Ankita shared that she is really not upset about this eviction or not reaching the top three, she had a beautiful journey and hence this is not difficult for her at all. She said that she is very happy with her journey and that she could reach the finale and now her family is waiting for her outside. Acknowledging her roots in Indian television, Ankita expressed her emotional connection to the medium, stating, “I am the daughter of Indian television.” Salman Khan, visibly shocked by her elimination, welcomed her on stage, where Ankita reiterated the positive aspects of her Bigg Boss journey.

The final two contenders for the Bigg Boss season 17 trophy are now Munawar Faruqui and Abhishek Kumar. Whereas Mannara Chopra emerged as the second runner-up of the show.
